Products principle
The principle that the water flow velocity VV in the pipe, caused by the impact of water on the impeller or vanes within the pipe, is proportional to the rotational speed ω\omega of the impeller.
While the impeller rotates, the rotation is transmitted to the gear reduction mechanism through the teeth of the impeller, which then drives the pointer to indicate the total amount of water passing through the water meter.
