Manual water meter Test Bench – Working Principle
Working Principle: The test medium is drawn by a water pump and then stabilized by a pressure tank to reduce fluctuations and pulsations in the flow. It is delivered into the test pipeline, passes through the meter under test and the flow indication device, and then enters the corresponding measuring instrument. The readings of the meter under test are compared with those of the standard device to determine the measurement error of the water meter.

Manual Water Meter Test Bench – Operating Instructions
1. Place the water meter to be tested on the test bench and secure it. Then, open the inlet valve to pressurize the pipeline and the water meter, ensuring that the meter is properly clamped and there are no leaks.
2. Open all flow control valves in sequence to purge the air from the pipeline and the water meter under test. Once the air is completely removed, close all flow control valves.
3. Record the initial reading of the water meter, open the flow control valve corresponding to the desired flow, and adjust it to the target flow rate. During the process, carefully observe the level in the measuring device. When the level reaches the specified position, quickly close the flow control valve
4 . Record the final reading of the water meter and the actual reading of the measuring device. Drain the water from the measuring device and proceed to test the next flow point. After completing all tests, calculate the error of the water meter based on the collected data
