General steps for using a fully automatic water meter test bench
Place the water meter on the test stand and fix it with clamps, but do not overtighten. Make sure the axis of the water meter is aligned with the pipe of the test bench.
Flushes air through the system, eliminating air bubbles. Keep system pressure steady. Make sure the pipes and water meter are full of water. Install the water meter horizontally or vertically upward to prevent water leakage from pipes and water meters.
Record the initial reading of the water meter.
For new water meter inspections, start with a high-flow test, then proceed to a low-flow test.
Open the water discharge valve of the test bench and adjust to the required maximum flow test value.
Record the standard volume flowing through the system and the volume indicated by the water meter, and calculate the error.
Repeat the above steps for medium flow and minimum flow tests.
