Use of photoelectric direct reading water meter

1. The diameter of the water meter should be selected according to the flow rate of the installation site.

2. The installation location should avoid exposure to the sun, freezing, pollution, dampness and flooding in order to facilitate disassembly and meter reading. During freezing, in addition to wrapping the water meter and the water pipe, when not in use, close the valve at the inlet of the water meter, and open the drain valve and faucet at the outlet to prevent the water meter from being damaged due to frost expansion. It is recommended to install in a dedicated water meter box.

3. The water meter should be installed horizontally, literally facing up, and the arrow direction is the same as the water flow direction.

4. In the newly installed pipeline, the stones, sand, hemp and other debris in the pipeline must be washed clean before installing the water meter to avoid malfunction of the water meter.

5. For accurate measurement, the faucet should be higher than the water meter.

6. If the water meter is installed at the water inlet pipe of the boiler, the water meter should be prevented from being scalded by the backflow of hot water.

7. The water meter should not be directly connected to the pipeline, and the water meter and the pipeline should be connected through a pipe connection, a sealing gasket, and a connecting nut. When disassembling and assembling the water meter, do not force the hard plate to avoid twisting the case.

8. Avoid excessive stress on the water meter caused by pipes and fittings. When necessary, the water meter should be installed on the base or bracket.

9. Valves should be installed before and after the water meter to facilitate maintenance and replacement.
