Is it necessary to distinguish the direction when installing the water meter?
At present, domestic water meters in China are generally single-flow water meters, and most of them can also move around in reverse flow (also known as reverse flow or reverse flow) and reduce the cumulative number. The existing water meter lead seal mechanism does not have the function of preventing the water meter from being inverted. Therefore, there is a possibility of causing measurement disputes and cheating. The anti-backflow water meter can seal the connecting pipe of the water meter with the water pipe by adding a check valve at the entrance of the meter, preventing the possibility of cheating by artificially installing the water meter upside down. The function of the two-way metering water meter is that the counting mechanism of the water meter is still accumulative and meets the requirements of metering accuracy when the flow is reversed.
There will be a dial on the water meter. When we install it, we should keep it horizontal and install the dial facing upwards. If the installation is uneven, it will increase the frictional resistance between the water meter's wing wheel shafts, resulting in a decrease in the sensitivity of the water meter, which will eventually lead to inaccurate measured data. The more inclined the water meter is installed, the slower the water meter will go.
