The woltman water meter is a traditional mechanical water meter used in agriculture and industry. It is divided into a screw-wing water meter and a rotary-wing water meter.

Woltman water meter is a kind of speed water meter, suitable for use in large diameter pipeline (DN80-DN500), which is characterized by large circulation capacity and small pressure loss. Screw-wing water meters are divided into two categories: horizontal screw-wing water meters and vertical screw-wing water meters. Most industrial watches used in the country are horizontal screw-wing water meters. In addition, the detachable horizontal screw-wing water meter (dry type) has become a series because of its wide metering flow range, strong versatility of parts, installation and maintenance, and the ability to perform without stopping the water. The product is welcomed by users.
The vertical screw-wing water meter means that the screw axis is perpendicular to the axis of the tap water pipe. The screw wing of the screw-type water meter is vertically supported by the apex, so the wear resistance is better than that of the horizontal screw-wing type screw bushing. The vertical flow rate of a vertical screw-type water meter is stronger than that of a horizontal screw-type water meter.
