The Operation Description Of The Two Reed Switches System
The LXLC Woltman Water Meter uses a two-reed-switch system. The two reed switches are operated ON or OFF, respectively, by the magnet fitted to the pointer or gear during operation, but they are never switched ON at the same time under normal conditions.
The two reed switches generate two ON and two OFF signals during one complete revolution of the pointer or gear, which corresponds to one signal output. This design helps prevent signal loss or overcounting caused by switch bouncing or pipe vibration, ensuring reliable and stable pulse signal output.
