Flow Distribution Principle
Water enters the water meter through the inlet and first encounters the flow distribution device. This device evenly divides the water into multiple small streams, which then flow uniformly from different directions toward the impeller.

These multiple streams converge around the impeller from various directions, causing it to rotate. Since the water flow is symmetrical and evenly distributed, this greatly reduces mechanical wear on the impeller and minimizes measurement errors caused by unbalanced flow.
