When installing, pay attention to the direction of the water flow and the direction of the arrow. Smart water meters are not suitable for installation in places that are exposed to sunlight, flooded, or polluted. Smart water meters need to be read, so of course, care should be taken to facilitate disassembly and meter reading during installation. To avoid water meter failure, be sure to clean out any debris when installing new pipes.
3. A valve should be installed before and after the smart water meter, so that the water flow can be controlled. When using the smart water meter, both gates should be opened. In addition to installing valves, straight pipes should also be installed upstream and downstream. This straight pipe is very necessary. There are also certain requirements for the length of straight pipes. Below 10D is the requirement for upstream pipelines, and below 5D is for downstream pipelines.
4. Another factor that should be considered when installing a water meter is the measurement accuracy of the smart water meter. In order to ensure the accurate measurement of the water meter, we should install the downstream pipeline at a position more than 0.5 meters above the water meter. In addition, if there are sundries in the water pipe, it will easily cause inaccurate measurement, so you should pay more attention to it in normal use, and if there are sundries, you should clean them up as soon as possible.
