What are the functions of the IoT water meter?
The Internet of Things water meter is a wireless remote water meter based on a private network, which is used to measure the total volume of water flowing through the water supply pipeline. Through the Internet of Things, the water consumption data of the water meter is directly transmitted to the meter reading and charging management system without any intermediate equipment. When the user is in arrears or reports a shutdown, the management system issues a command to close the valve through the Internet of Things to realize automatic control of water use. It is an ideal metering product to improve the modern management level of the water supply department.

So what functions can the Internet of Things water meter realize? Let's take a look below!
(1) IP68 protection level: It adopts double protection design of structural sealing and potting sealing, which has good waterproof performance.
(2) Electromechanical separation structure design: the mechanical part and the electronic part adopt a modular design, which can be assembled and installed by screws, which is convenient for later maintenance.
(3) Parameter setting function: through the external infrared port and the front-end computer system, the meter terminal parameters can be set.
(4) Magnetic wake-up function: The NB valve-controlled water meter has a built-in magnet. The cover can be opened for 5 seconds and closed for 3 seconds to trigger uploading, emergency valve opening, and infrared and other functions are simultaneously activated.
(5) Periodic reporting function: The meter end has the optional functions of daily regular reporting, interval reporting and hourly reporting.
(6) Data re-reporting function: When the current data report is unsuccessful, the next re-reporting cycle data will be re-reported automatically, and the re-reporting cycle and re-reporting times can be set.
(7) Time-sharing reporting function: The meter terminal has a time-sharing transmission function to prevent server congestion caused by a large number of terminals reporting at the same time.
(8) Abnormal alarm function: In case of failures such as power failure and sensor abnormality, the meter end actively uploads the abnormal status to the background server for early warning.
