What methods can we take to solve the water meter error?
Method 1: The existing water meters are archived and carded, inspections are strengthened, periodic verification is carried out, and replacement is due.
Method 2: Replace the old water meter with a new water meter. Use water meters from regular manufacturers with complete two certificates (quality certificate and water meter verification certificate), eliminate A-level meters, and explore the use of new and accurate meters.
Method 3: Strengthen the daily maintenance of the verification device, and provide technical training and responsibility education for the water meter verification personnel.
Method 4: Choose the right water meter. In fact, different water meters should be used for different water consumption conditions. We should correctly estimate the water volume to avoid mismatch between the diameter of the water meter and the water flow. It is necessary to choose a water meter with a rated flow rate similar to the water consumption. For domestic water use, the horizontal rotor type water meter should be selected; for users with large water consumption and small changes in water consumption, the horizontal screw type water meter with small head loss and large water passing capacity should be selected; its large flow performance is better than that of the rotor type. Water meter; for places where the water consumption varies greatly, a duplex water meter is generally used; for areas where the water supply network is to be determined, if the actual flow in the pipeline is greater than 30% of the nominal flow of the horizontal screw water meter, then the horizontal wing water meter can be selected. ; For places prone to flooding and dust, dry water meters should not be used, but wet water meters should be used.
Method 5: Reasonable and scientific design and installation
(1) The water meter must be installed on the straight pipe section of the pipeline. The length of the straight pipe section on the water inlet side of the water meter shall not be less than 10 times the diameter of the water meter, and the length of the straight pipe section on the water outlet side shall not be less than 5 times the diameter of the water meter;
(2) Strive to install the water meter horizontally or vertically;
(3) The water meter should not be installed in the place where the vibration is strong or the water hammer is involved, and the design and installation of the water meter in the soft area should be avoided as much as possible;
(4) A small "water hammer" eliminator can be installed on the pipeline to avoid "water hammer" caused by the opening and closing of valves or faucets;
(5) After the pipeline is installed, the sundries in the pipeline should be rinsed before the water meter is installed;
(6) After the water meter is installed or the pipeline is repaired, the valve in front of the meter should be fully opened. Evacuate the air in the pipeline through the exhaust valve;
(7) The pipes with smooth inner wall, inner wall lining and good hydraulic conditions should be selected as far as possible to reduce the scaling phenomenon on the inner wall.
