Installation common sense 1. Clean the pipe before installing the water meter. Before the water meter is installed in the pipe (especially the newly installed pipe), the dirt in the pipe should be removed (flush with water) to avoid blockage, affecting the water quality and causing pollution. In addition, to ensure accurate water meter measurement, there are also requirements for water sources. The ideal water source should be clean. If there are many impurities in the water, when the water flows through the water meter, these dirt will adhere to the impeller of the water meter or the wall surface of the water meter, causing the impeller to rotate inflexibly or the flow velocity in the metering area becomes faster, making the metering Inaccurate, and damage the water meter. Sometimes, the water source is clean, but the inner wall of the water pipeline is very dirty, which eventually causes the water quality to deteriorate. 2. The horizontal water meter should be installed horizontally. If the horizontal water meter is installed inclined or even vertically, it will not only affect the measurement accuracy of the water meter, but also shorten the service life of the water meter. Data shows that for a water meter with a diameter of 15mm, in the case of 1000 liters/hour, if the horizontal tilt is 45°, the error will increase by 1%, if the longitudinal tilt is 45°, the error* will increase by 3%; at 180 liters/hour Under the circumstances, if the horizontal tilt is 45°, the error will increase by more than 5%, if the longitudinal tilt is 45°, the error* will increase by 20% or even more. 3. The requirements for the length of the upstream straight pipe section and the downstream straight pipe section during the installation of the water meter. Take a water meter with a diameter of 15mm as an example. The upstream should have at least 150mm straight pipes and the downstream should have at least 75mm straight pipes. Otherwise, it will affect The measurement accuracy of the water meter. Air in the water will also affect the metering accuracy of the water meter. Air mixed in the water will often stay in the upper regulator of the water meter and other higher spaces, directly causing the meter to count more. Not only that, the air hidden inside the water meter will weaken the counterattack effect of the regulator on the water, and further increase the indicated water volume of the water meter.
