What Basic Functions should a Smart Water Meter Design Include?

I. Statistics function
When the user inserts a valid card, the purchased water will be automatically added to the remaining water; when the user uses water, the remaining water will be automatically subtracted from the water consumption, and stored in E2PROM to prevent loss.
II. Automatic water supply and stop function
When the remaining water is 0, the valve is automatically closed; after purchasing water, the valve is opened.
III. Display function
Using a 6-digit LED display, you can check the accumulated total water consumption and available remaining water at any time.
IV. Alarm function
When the remaining water decreases to a certain amount, the alarm prompts the user to purchase water.
V.  Power-down automatic data protection function
After a power failure, the data can still be saved. When the power is restored, the data is automatically restored.
VI. One account, one card function
One household and one card are realized by setting up user information and a user verification code. That is to say, a water meter can only use one user-specific card, and inserting other cards is invalid.
VII. The function of automatically shutting down the system under power failure
When the battery voltage or battery capacity drops to the specified value, it means that the battery may be almost out of power. At this time, the water meter should automatically close the valve and put the system in a dormant state, and give an alarm.
VIII. Anti-disassembly function
Lead seals are provided on the meter body and joint pipe fittings, and anti-counterfeiting lead seals can be used to prevent random disassembly of the water meter. Even after being disassembled, the single-chip microcomputer closes the valve immediately to prevent water from being stolen.
