Features and applications of volumetric water meters
Volumetric water meters are divided into two series: rotary piston volumetric water meters and disc volumetric water meters. As water flows through the meter, the water drives the piston to rotate (oscillate), while the volume of the piston cylinder is constant. Therefore, the flow of water through the flow meter can be obtained by measuring the amount of rotation of the piston (disc oscillation).

Piston-type volumetric water meters are generally of small-caliber specifications, and are mainly used for flow measurement work that requires high measurement accuracy and good water quality such as pure water; while speed-type water meters are suitable for various calibers, and are mainly used for general tap water measurement, water quality, etc. qua. The flexibility requirements are relatively low, and the application range is large.
