Install
The volumetric water meter is installed in the pipeline, and it is composed of some known volume chambers that are filled and discharged fluid one by one and a water meter driven by fluid, or quantitative discharge water meter for short. Volumetric water meters generally adopt a piston structure. Unlike velocity meters, positive displacement meters measure the actual volume of fluid passing through the meter

Volumetric water meters generally adopt a piston structure. Unlike velocity meters, positive displacement meters measure the actual volume of fluid passing through the meter. Therefore, volumetric water meters are more accurate than speed water meters. The measurement error of the speed water meter will have an error of ±2% according to the speed of the passing fluid, while the error of the volumetric water meter can be controlled at ±0.5% or even lower.
