A LoRaWAN water meter is a smart water meter that operates based on the LoRaWAN protocol. It features low power consumption, long-range wireless communication, and support for large-scale device connectivity.Unlike traditional systems that rely on cellular networks, LoRaWAN water meters can be widely deployed in various environments, making them especially suitable for remote or hard-to-reach areas.

 

 

• Data is frozen once every hour and can store data for 1 year (expandable up to 5 years as needed). The data is stored circularly according to the storage structure, ensuring the most recent 1 year of data is retained
• The water meter can connect to a LoRaWAN gateway for data communication (data transmitted includes: instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, DTU voltage, water meter voltage, and device status). Each data report carries the latest timestamp to facilitate backend data tracking and storage
• Real-time analysis of historical sampled data is used to detect pipeline faults such as "leakage" and "burst pipe." The sampling interval and judgment time for "leakage" and "burst pipe" can be individually configured to meet the specific needs of different scenarios
• Water meter data can be packaged and uploaded (a single upload can contain up to 8 hours of data, with 3 uploads per day). If weak signal conditions reduce the number of bytes sent in a single transmission, the device can automatically reduce the number of hours of data packaged per upload and report data according to the new interval.

• LoRaWAN Water meter parameters can be read and modified via the optical interface.

• The water meter program can be upgraded and updated through the optical interface (facilitating product function optimization)
• The device report can be triggered via a capacitive button, which is convenient for on-site commissioning and testing (the button trigger includes a coding feature to prevent accidental activation during transportation).
• The water meter is designed with status indicators and data transmission/reception indicators, allowing users to easily observe the device status.
• The LoRaWAN water meter has a built-in high-precision clock.
